The Cu Chi Tunnels are a network of underground tunnels, carved out by hand, located 55 miles northwest of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). About a two hours’ drive from the former South Vietnam capital, Cu Chi tunnel tours today comprise a popular Saigon tourist destination that provides visitors with an evocative look at Vietnam War history.

Day 1CU CHI TUNNELS (Meal: L)
This tour, perfect for history and war buffs, will take you back to wartime where you can explore the famous Cu Chi tunnels, try your hand at shooting accuracy with an AK-47 and even sample food eaten by Vietnamese soldiers during the war.
We depart at 8:30 am from Vietnam Adventure Tours office Or pick up at your hotel to Cu Chi Tunnel for 60km from Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti – American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220 km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreigner.
The famous Cu Chi tunnels are a network of underground tunnels in Ho Chi Minh City. The tunnels were used as a military base for resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War and often used as hiding spots or spy activities.
Along the way to Cu Chi from Ho Chi Minh city, we will pass by the scenic local countryside, where you might even spot ducks and buffalo cooling off in the river. You will find it hard to imagine the destruction and damage that once dominated the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was “a free target zone.”

Cancellation policy
Cancellation policy for deposited Tours:
- If you cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded
- If you are a “no-show” on the morning of the trip, for whatever reason, you will lose your deposit
Cancellation policy for full charged Tours:
- Up to 48 hours before the start of the activity: 50% refund
- Less than 48 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: no refund
- Flight delayed, food poisoning, getting sick unable to attend tour. Under those circumstances, we agree to reschedule your start date with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost
- The refund is done using the same payment method. In the event of credit cards which are charged monthly, the amount shall be credited at the end of the current invoicing period. The exact time of the refund depends on the user’s credit card agreement. The refund by bank transfer shall be done within seven bank working days.

How long in advance is it reasonable to book a flight ticket?
You can book a flight ticket as early or as late as you like, but to be able to hunt for cheap tickets to reduce costs. Normally, for domestic tours, you can book tickets at least 2-3 weeks in advance, and for international flights, you should book tickets 1 to 2 months in advance. Absolutely do not book a flight ticket within 24 hours before the flight, you will not be able to get a good price and will have very few options.
When should you book a tour?
The best time to book a tour is when you are ready for your trip, consult the prices of travel agencies, and choose a reputable travel agency to make your flight as convenient and safe as possible.
What should you do when your luggage is delayed?
When you have arrived at the airport but your luggage has not yet reached the conveyor belt, the first thing you should do is contact the airline staff, they will help you check the luggage code and help you retrieve your luggage.
